Important News

After considerable deliberation and prayer, my family and I have decided to seek a sale of Wohlfahrt Haus, LLC and the related properties. We thank everyone for their commitment and support over the years and it is our hope to see Wohlfahrt Haus live on in the years to come. As for the remaining 2024 season, it will be business as usual through December 22, 2024. 

In order to bring a conclusion to the decision, we have chosen Woltz and Associates of Roanoke, Virginia (woltz.com) to conduct a live and online auction on November 15, 2024 with closing anticipated to be in the days after Christmas 2024 and before December 31, 2024.  With Woltz as our realtor and agent, we ask that all inquiries be directed to them, (jonna@woltz.com).

Our ultimate goal in this process is that the prospective buyer will possess the same passion and commitment of our late beloved cofounder Peggy H Sutphin .  Whether a current stakeholder, patron, and or employee, we ask that you join us in seeking a group, a family, or individual that will foster and continue the traditions of Wohlfahrt Haus established and sustained over the past 25 years.
